Dues Policy
When joining the co-op, the member will pay one month’s membership dues and a deposit equal to one month’s dues. If an artist resigns from the co-op, the initial deposit can either be used to pay the last month of dues, or if the membership is paid in full, the deposit will be refunded. Each month’s membership dues will be paid in advance for the upcoming month, and will be due on or before the last day of the current month.
Submitting Works For Membership
A prospective member will submit a portfolio or other samples of his/her work before being approved for membership. A maximum of 10 to 15 pieces and a minimum of five pieces should be submitted and at least some pieces should be finished and ready to display. This work should be presented in person. Exceptions to this procedure can be made by agreement of the artist and the Eclectic.
Gallery Hours
The Gallery will be open to the public on the day and evening of the Downtown Gallery Hop, currently the first Friday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (or later). Members of the public can also make arrangements to visit the Gallery by appointment.
Feature Gallery
An individual artist or group of artists may choose to have a dedicated show of their works in the Feature Gallery for a fee of $50.
Exceptions to the above guidelines may be considered by the Eclectic on a case-by-case basis.
